Where do I put this thing? Is it possible to put it somewhere after the intercooler or would it blow out under pressure? What do I use to install it? Do I get a bung welded in?

Are you using this in a MAS translation type of mode, or just for logging temperature somewhere in your input path?

The sensor screws into a pipe, so you'll probably want a bung welded into whatever pipe you're installing it in. Then you run wires from the sensor to the ECU+.

I am using it for mas translation. The AIT I have is plastic, is that right?

I'm not sure if the sensor is plastic. If you got the part number listed in the ECU+ manual you should be ok.

When using this for MAS translation, you want to measure the temperature in the pipe between the air filter and the turbo, since you're doing the function that the MAS normally does.

BTW, some have said that the GM MAFs include an air temperature correction internally. I don't really understand that, but you might try it without the AIT first and see if you have ambient temperature-related driveability problems before installing the AIT sensor.
