FIC 950cc injectors

Postby iluvecuplus » Sun Feb 18, 2007 10:29 pm

If I'm not wrong, ECU+ is currently only able to scale injectors 50% bigger than the stock injectors. So how do I get injectors bigger than 780cc to work? Do I need to dial them in by flashing the stock ECU first or is there a simpler way via the ECU+?

you're best off buying the $90 tactrix cable and scaling the injectors yourself. Very cheap fix, plus you now have the ability to move all your limits and change the ecu's hard maps if you're comfortable w/ it.

I already have the Tactrix cable and Ecuflash. Do you have the correct scaling and voltage latency compensation values to get the 950cc dialed in?

lol, sorry, nope. To be honest, I didn't even scale mine for my 680s, they were a small enough upgrade to warrant simple fuel table modifications. As I recall you should try something like 80% of your injector size and then change the 14.7ish latencies according to your fuel trims. This means you would start with something like 780 and see how it runs, whether your AFR is near your target. Once you get it close slowly adjust latencies (around 12-15V) so that your long and short term fuel trims are at least within +/- 5%.

If that's confusing, it's all on EvoM. Hope it helped though.
