A few questions.

I just got done installing the ECU+ in my 2003 Evo and am having a problem. Ill start off with my mods since most people don't list them.

BR3065 turbo
264/272 HKS cams
3" GM MAF blowthrough
SMC alky
MBC set to 30psi
3" Ext
Tilton clutch
Shep tranny, t-case
780cc injectors

If you look at the logs when I blip the throttle the car backfires and goes lean. Looking back in the logs it looks like the MAF was giving out some false readings. The MAF is de-screened so is that the culprit?

I have the car running a bit on the rich side for now and still adjusting the MAS settings, if I remember right its set at 37hz. The injector scaling is done via Ecuflash and is set to 550/550 in the Ecu+.

Once I get past this hurdle Im sure the tuning process will move right along since the interface is very easy to use, and it updates immediately.

NM, I went back to a regular MAF set-up.

My computer's on the fritz, so I wasn't able to look at your log, but I'd definitely recommend putting the screens back in the GM MAF (why take 'em out?). Also, you almost always have to re-tune a bit after a GM MAF install, as there seems to be some variations between MAFs.

Well after 1 year I finally figured out what the problem was. I had the simulated 02 and the MAS input hooked up to the same wire. Now thinking back on it, it would make perfect sense what was happening with the bucking.

If Im correct on this the 02 output voltage isnt enough for the MAS input, correct?

Now with a ton of time on my hands I can go back and toy with the car again. Now that I figured out the problem I just might go back with the GM blowthrough setup. I still have all the pipes and sensors so this should be a piece of cake this time.

The simulated O2 output isn't in any way compatible with the MAS input. They're completely different signals.
