New feature: side configuration help pane

Post by tlcoll1 »

Here's a rockin' new feature: the ECU+ Windows software can optionally show a "Help pane" next to the configuration options. Lots of text here to tell you everything you need to know about a given feature. I really like how this turned out.

I'll say probably not. Whenever I estimate dates, I always find myself off by a factor of three!

lol yeah. I always like something new to fiddle with before my next track day. I understand. But for me the only time the wheels spin on my lancer any more is when I'm hitting the track.

Just FYI, my TODO list now says:

- Finish configuration help screens.
- Finish closed-loop boost control.

The first item should just be one night, the second maybe a week. Beta comes out after that. If I wait 3 months to release, I can make releases be a two year cycle!

Don't act like I couldn't hurt Dan to find your address. ;-) I think they're sponsoring the VIR event this weekend.

Made it through the weekend. Gonna throw a new head gasket in. I'll be ready for more boost then. This 18psi is killing me. I'd love to ditch the MBC.

Last feature is closed-loop boost control, which I'm tweaking right now.
